Amman, July 17 (Petra)-- The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship has warned of malicious fake links that claim they provide financial aid and when opened, they steal personal data of whoever opens them.

In a statement issued Sunday, the ministry urged citizens to refer to official government websites or pages on social media to verify the authenticity of these links.

It also warned citizens against circulating or accessing those links and helping in avoid publishing and circulating them.

The ministry advised citizens not to share their personal and financial data with any publication or link on social media platforms.
